To remain competitive in today's fast-paced, digital world, organisations need to adopt technologies that enable them to innovate and scale. Kubernetes has quickly become the choice solution for teams looking to deliver modern cloud native applications while decreasing cost and optimising resources. However, learning and managing Kubernetes while navigating the Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF) landscape of tools can be a significant challenge. The Cloud Native Virtual Summit will offer technical and practical advice to attendees, as well as arm them with the resources needed to successfully manage their Kubernetes environments.
With more than 45 speakers from over 30 companies presenting across eight tracks, the event will begin with a welcome address from Tobi Knaup, co-founder and co-CEO at D2iQ, followed by a series of breakout sessions to delve deeper into the specialist areas, including:
• Tech Ethics in Dark Times: Anne Currie, a technologist with over 20 years’ experience, will discuss how changes in the world are impacting ethical decision- making in tech
• The Quest for the Fastest Deployment Time: Ellen Körbes, developer relations at Tilt and expert in Kubernetes development tooling, will provide an in-depth exploration of the strategies and techniques used to speed up workflows
• Live Kubernetes Debugging with the Elastic Stack: Philipp Krenn, developer at Elastic, will walk attendees through a live debugging session using Elastic Stack with a focus on its Kubernetes integration
• How to beat an existential crisis by becoming Cloud Native: Pini Reznik , CTO, Container Solutions will provide an overview of the mental models, patterns, designs and more to an effective strategy for dealing with crises
“The use of Kubernetes has skyrocketed as more organisations than ever look to move from legacy to cloud native applications,” said Tobi Knaup, co-founder and co-CEO at D2iQ. “Our inaugural Cloud Native Virtual Summit will bring together this growing community and empower organisations as they move to Day 2 operations on their cloud native journeys.”
